Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms cover the YayNay app (“Selfie Outfit Checker: YayNay”) and this website, provided by Metin Arslantürk. Your use of the app is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) together with these terms. These terms describe the product and subscription conditions and do not replace that license or limit mandatory consumer rights. Questions? Contact contact@apps.arslanturk.dev.

2. What YayNay provides

YayNay is an AI outfit checker. You upload a photo of your outfit, say whether you’re posting it or going out, and receive a YAY, ALMOST or NAY verdict, a fit score, a vibe match, a viral potential or head-turn factor, a breakdown, highlights, quick fixes, caption and hashtag ideas, a pro tip and a shareable card. This or That compares two outfits and picks a winner. Your fit diary keeps past checks on your device. YayNay does not require an account. It is made for iPhone; availability may vary by device, iOS version and App Store territory.

3. AI results are opinions

YayNay uses AI to generate results. Results are opinions for entertainment and inspiration. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent between checks, or not suited to your taste, body, culture or situation, and they are not professional styling, image, career, medical or other advice. Scores such as viral potential are playful estimates, not predictions or guarantees of views, likes or outcomes. Use your own judgment about what you wear and post.

4. Acceptable use

You are responsible for the photos and information you submit. You agree to:

• only upload photos you have the right to use, of yourself or of people who have agreed to it;
• never upload photos of minors, nudity or sexual content, or illegal, hateful, harassing or violent content;
• not use YayNay to judge, mock or harass other people;
• not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or resell the app or its service, except as permitted by law;
• not abuse the service, for example by automating requests, circumventing limits, overloading the backend, or attempting to access other users’ data.

We may refuse requests or suspend access to the service when these rules are broken. The AI may decline photos that don’t meet these rules.

5. Free checks and YayNay Premium

YayNay is free to download and includes a limited number of free checks (currently 2). YayNay Premium unlocks unlimited outfit checks and This or That battles, subject to fair use.

• Auto-renewing subscriptions: YayNay Premium is offered as an auto-renewable weekly or yearly subscription. The app shows the price in your local currency before you purchase.
• Payment: payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancel anytime: manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; Premium remains active until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
• Restore: use Restore Purchases in the app with the same Apple Account to restore Premium on a reinstalled app or new iPhone.
• Fair use: to keep the service fast and available for everyone, Premium includes a generous daily limit on checks. If you reach it, you can check again the next day.

An internet connection is needed to analyze outfits and to buy, validate or restore Premium. Premium may be revoked if a payment is refunded or reversed.

6. Refunds and consumer rights

Apple processes payments and refund requests. You can request an eligible refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple’s policies and applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits statutory guarantees, withdrawal rights or other consumer protections that apply in your country.

7. Your content and data

You keep all rights to your photos. You allow us and our AI processing provider to process the photos and details you submit only to generate your results, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not store your photos or results on our servers. Your fit diary is stored on your device, with no cloud backup, so deleting the app or losing your device may permanently remove it. You can delete your data at any time with “Delete account & data” in YayNay’s Settings.

8. Availability and changes

We may improve, change or discontinue features, adjust limits, and address technical, legal or safety issues. We do not promise that YayNay will be uninterrupted, error-free or available in every country. We will give notice of material changes to these terms where required; continuing to use YayNay after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

9. Limitation of liability

YayNay is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on AI results, including what you wear, post or share. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
